THE LAST THING I WROTE...
...was an entry* to the list '100 Little things that bring me delight' I'm compiling in my Notes app.
I try to add at least one thing to the list every day. My work as a writer has always been health, food, real-life, beauty and parenting related. The highlight of my career was interviewing Miss Piggy on the phone (check out some of my work here). My writing style is fresh, fun, cliché-free, and always servicing the reader. I have 20 years experience as published writer, writing mainly for a female audience.
*28. The hot priest in Fleabag
I'm a British-born (North London) writer, living on the sunny Central Coast of New South Wales in Australia (couldn't handle the grey. Miss Sainsburys). I love words, being a mother, Saturday mornings, Stevie Wonder and talking in accents. And writing lists.
I have 20 years experience of writing, editing and interviewing and am known to be reliable and deliver the goods. Until mid 2015, I held the position of Features Director at Women's Health magazine for seven years. I left to have two babies, and am now back at my Mac working as a freelance writer, often jacked up on caffeine with a bit of banana mushed into my clothes somewhere.
I have written health, parenting, food, real-life, beauty, travel and celebrity features for titles including Women's Health, New Idea, FOXTEL Lifestyle You, Seafolly, Marie Claire online, whimn.com.au, The Sunday Telegraph Body + Soul, SBS, Woolworths, WeightWatchers and Swisse.
If you'd like me to write something fabulous for you (or something unfabulous for that matter), or you want a chat to find out more, please drop me a line at .
